TPCC Organises Condolence Meeting For Former PM Manmohan Singh.

Agartala, Tripura, 2nd of January, 2025 : With the initiative of Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee organized a condolence meeting in memory of Former Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh at Tripura Pradesh Congress Bhawan, Post Office Chowmuhani, Agartala, Tripura on Thursday (2nd January, 2025).

Asish Kumar Saha, President of Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee Condolence message : The entire nation is deeply saddened by the sudden demise of our former Prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. His passing away is a great and irrepairable loss to the nation. He was the architect of economic reforms in India. He was a visionary statesman and a staltwart of Indian politics. He consistently voiced for the welfare of the marginalized section of people through out his life. He Played a pivotal role in rebuilding India’s economy during hard times. His policy of economic liberalisation and rightbased welfare paradigm profoundly transformed the lives of crores of Indians below the Poverty line. His Leadership earned admiration and respect cutting across party line. He Combined courage, vision and humanity. His humanity, deep understanding of economics and visionary attitude inspired the whole nation. He was honest ins and outs which is an inspiration to all of us. He was genuinely egalitarian, wise, strong willed and courageous until the end. As a result of his sad demise we have lost a leader of Unimpeachable integrity and an economist of unparalleled stature. He was a man of action rather than words. His contribution to the progress of India will always be remembered. His immense contribution to nation building as well as our tiny State Tripura will for ever be etched in the annals of Indian history.

We, on behalf of Tripura pradesh Congress Committee, Pay our respectful homage to one of the greatest sons of India and convey our heartfelt condolences to the family members of our departed former prime minister. May God grant his soul rest in peace and give his family members the strength to bear the loss.
