Amarpur, Tripura, 14th of March 2025 : With the initiative of department of agriculture, Ompi agri. Subdivision Training Cum Distribution Programme of Kadaknath Chick-bird & Farmer Machinary has been organized here in the premises of Ompi agriculture SA office in Gomati Tripura today.
On this occasion a large number of farmers from different VCs under Ampinagar block have assembled here in the programme venue. In presence of many dignitaries Ampi 41 constituency MLA Pathanlal Jamatia has inaugurated the programme. Under the scheme of SMAM 2024-25 power tillers, power weeders and other farm machinery as well as Kadaknath Chick-birds have been distributed amidst a large number of farmers under Ampi nagar block.
Addressing the cultivators MLA Pathanlal Jamatia has said, “To accelerate agriculture sector the government is always with the farmers. Under various development schemes the agriculture department is taking miscellaneous initiatives to improve farmers’ economic stability. If department provides you amenities you have to utilize them in proper way to gain the desired goal of the department.”
Amidst other distinguished participants there were Ompi SA, Nibash Debbarma, Ompi BAC chairman Sindhu Chandra Jamatia, Ompi Ex. sub zonal chairman Deb Sadhan Jamatia and many others remained present in the programme.
