TRESP Convened An Workshop On AAP Under Livelihood Sector.

Agartala, Tripura, 10th of March, 2025 : Tripura Rural Economic Growth & Service Delivery Project (TRESP) has convened an Workshop on Annual Action Plan (AAP) under livelihood sector has been organised on 10th March at TFDPC conference Hall .The was Workshop led by Sonali Laskar ,Institution Building & Social Inclusion Specialist of TRESP. The opening remarks made by Gajendra Verma ,COO of TRESP. The State Mission Manager ,TRLM ,Amitabh Roy Choudhury has given shed light on coordination mechanism of TRESP,TRLM & respective line department for better implementation and monitoring of the project .

The project Director,TRESP,Director Tribal Welfare ,Sri.Subhasis Das has addressed the gathering .He has urged all the participating line departments to take positive actions for fulfilment of the expections of the world Bank by june 2025 without fail.In his maiden speech ,the PD,TRESP has emphasised on the effort to continue regular coordination meeting and follow up of progress as per district and block plan.

A total of 47 officials from across the project implementation units have attended the workshop from 5 districts .All the PIUs like TRLM,ARDD,Fishery and Agriculture department has presented their Annual action Plans ,timelines and strategies.A pannel discussion have been initiated by Training Specialist, Abdur Rahman Choudhury to draw action plan by the respective implementing departments in order to prioritize the activities to be accomplished by March 2025 and Jun 2025 as per mandate of the world Bank .District Mission Coordinators of TRLM ,District Programme Managers of TRESP have participated in the pannel discussion in a productive manner .In Group wise presentation ,there were so many queries and questions regarding operational issues that have been addressed in the workshop.

Among distinguished officials ,Mousumi Choudhury ,Nodal officer TRLM ,Dr.Jagannath Banik ,Nodal officer ,TRESP-ARDD ,Sri .Hirak Sarkar ,Nodal officer Fishery Department,Jiban Debbarma,Specialist Incharge ,Fishery, and Sri .Kohinoor Debbarma ,Nodal officer Agriculture Department shared their valuable ideas for achieving the targets of World Bank by June 2025.Apart from the govt.officials ,the representatives of Technical support agencies also took part in the open forum discussion in the workshop .The meeting ended with a vote of thanks extended by Dr.L.Jitendra Singh .
