With the initiative of Tripura sector CRPF, Usha Bazar a massive cleanliness drive programme has been launched here in Usha Bazar to create hygienic environment for the spectators of Durga Puja festival. On the occasion of the 153rd birth anniversary of M.K Gandhi, the father of the nation, this mega drive has been started from today. As per the CRPF authority, this Swachh Bharat Campaign will continue till 31st of October 2022 in different locations of Agartala. The drive has taken place in Puja pandal in Usha Bazar today and will be implemented in different market sheds, office premises, passenger sheds and other institution areas shortly.
Addressing the jawan participants the superior of the sector said, “We are fond of clean and hygienic environment. It is highly required for human beings to keep the atmosphere clean to live healthy. We have to generate awareness amidst people to remove all kinds of garbages from society. Clean & tidy surrounding prevent diseases. The volunteers of the CRPF were motivated to implement this cleanliness drive programme as a appreciable social service for the welfare of the society.
