Agartala 16th of December 2023 : The 12th Convocation of Tripura University held on Saturday (16th December, 2023) at Tripura University Campus, MBB Satabarshiki Bhavan, Suryamani Nagar, Agartala. In the presence of many dignitaries Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Tripura University Ganga Prasad Prasain delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu addressed as the Chief Guest at 12th Convocation of Tripura University.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of a new India will be built on educational institutions. Today, in any problem of the world, people of the world look towards our country. The country has reached where it is today because of the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”, said Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu at 12th Convocation of Tripura University. The Governor greets to the PhD, Post graduates and medal winners at the convocation ceremony. Hon’ble Minister of State for External Affairs & Education, Government of India Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh also address on the Convocation.
Many scholars have been awarded PhD degrees. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Tripura University conferred PhD degrees. Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu conferred Medals to Post Graduate Students and Hon’ble Minister of State for External Affairs & Education, Government of India Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh conferred Medals to Under Graduate Students at 12th Convocation ceremony.
Hon’ble Chairperson of Tripura Commission for Women Jharna Debbarma, Dean of Arts and Commerce Prof. Shyamal Das, Dean of Science Prof. Badal Kumar Datta, Former minister Rampada Jamatia, Professor of Tripura University, Students and many other dignitaries were present in the convocation ceremony. The Registrar of Tripura University Dr. Deepak Sharma has concluded the ceremony with vote of thanks.
