Agartala, 26th of May, 2024 : Tripura’s Dipa Karmakar scripted history by winning the Gold Medal in the women’s vault apparatus at the Asian Gymnastics Championships 2024 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on Sunday (26th May, 2024). Dipa Karmakar scored an average of 13.566 in the vault final on the final day of competition in Uzbekistan.

Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha congratulated to Dipa Karmakar for becoming 1st ever Indian gymnast to win gold medal in the women’s vault apparatus at the Asian Gymnastics Championships 2024 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
