New Delhi, Delhi, 25th of February, 2025 : India’s premier platform for deliberations on raging economic and fiscal issues – ‘TIOL’ will be organizing ‘TIOL Corporate India Awards’ 2025 ceremony on 1st March, 2025, wherein Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India, will posthumously honour legendary industrialist & philanthropist late Sir Ratan Tata with prestigious ‘TIOL Business Legend Award 2025’ for his unparalleled contribution in India’s wealth and social capital as the leading economy in the world. Mr. N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Tata Sons Ltd. will receive the award on his behalf.
Later, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Devendra Fadnavis will (likely) join Shri Gadkari to present the ‘TIOL Exemplary Business Woman Award 2025’ to Smt. Shobhana Bhartia, Chairman & Editorial Director, HT Media Ltd. for her exceptional contribution in strengthening media landscape in India.
The event will be held at Hotel J W Marriott in Juhu, Mumbai.
The distinguished personalities slated to address on this occasion, include Dr. P. Thiaga Rajan, Minister of IT & Digital Services, Tamil Nadu, and Justice Shiva Kirti Singh, former Judge of Supreme Court of India and the Chairman of the Jury for TIOL Awards.

Prior to the Award event in the evening, TIOL Knowledge Foundation is also slated to hold TIOL Congress with FIVE technical sessions on issues ranging from GST, New Income Tax Bill, Digital Economy and Sustainable as an Economic Imperative. Distinguished domain experts, including the CEO of GSTN, Principal DG of DGGI, and Chief Commissioner of CBIC along with senior CBDT officers will be participating in the deliberations.
The TIOL Congress is scheduled to be inaugurated by the Deputy CM and FM of Bihar,jt Shri Samrat Choudhary, who is also the convenor of Group of Ministers on Rate Rationalisation for GST. Other speakers at the inaugural are the President of GST Appellate Tribunal; President of ITAT and the DG of NADT, CBDT.
