Very Recent Arrest, By Tripura Police, Of One Shrimati Madhabi Bishwas, A So-Called Content Creator In The Social Media, Is Justified : Human Rights Protection Organisation, EIC.

Agartala, Tripura, 31st of October 2025 : In recent past a woman of Pratapgarh, Agartala named Shrimati Madhabi Bishwas had been arrested by the Tripura Police on the charge of spreading obscenity against various political leaders including Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Tripura Dr. Manik Saha, former Chief Minister of Tripura and present MP Shri Biplab Kumar Deb, Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Shri Dipak Majumder etc. on different issues.

A case had been lodged against the said Shrimati Bishwas under different provisions of the Information Technology Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. She had been produced before a court and remanded in police custody for three days on last Monday. Thereafter, she has further been produced before the court and has been sent to jail upto November 12, 2025.

Meanwhile Human Rights Protection Organisation, Eastern India Chapter, Kolkata has analysed the very recent arrest, by Tripura Police, of Shrimati Madhabi Bishwas, a so-called Content Creator in the social media, and has found the said arrest to be 200% courageous, honest and justified.

The said Organisation, therefore, has decided to intimately greet each and every member of Tripura Police for the said pro-citizen and pro-democratic arrest.

The Secretary of the said Organisation has wanted to know before the Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha through his email, “Will you, being the chief personality of Tripura Police, convey the said intimate greeting to them?”
