Agartala, Tripura, 28th of November, 2024 : On 28 Nov, ahead of BSF raising day, a Weapons Display show was organised by BSF at Tripura University Campus in Agartala to celebrate 60th BSF Raising Day. At 1000 hrs, Prof Ganga Prasad Prasain, Vice Chancellor of Tripura University inaugurated the weapons show. Large numbers of students and people witnessed the weapons display.
Documentary related with BSF history , valour and national heritage was shown to the students and public. BSF Jazz band performance also was the main attraction and was appreciated by the audience.
Aim of the show was to appraise the future generation about the strength of the nation and at the same time to attract them to choose armed forces as their career.
In addition several programs for students including border visit and live firing demonstration was also organised in North Tripura and Unakoti districts.
