Witnesses & Residents Of Dhalabil Allegations Against The Police To The Road Accident August 7.

Khowai, Tripura, 12th of August, 2025 : On August 7, right in front of the Chief Medical Officer in Dhalabil under Khowai subdivision, a e-Rickshaw (tom-tom) passenger and teacher, Aarati Das, died in a collision between a e-Rickshaw and a bike. Eyewitnesses and the people of Dhalabil area have expressed grief and condolences over the death of the teacher. In addition, eyewitnesses and locals of this incident are raising complaints against the police investigation.

Regarding the whole matter, the locals said that the incident that happened was completely due to the mistake of e-Rickshaw, this incident happened, an innocent pedestrian and teacher Aarati Das had to lose his life. But the locals and witnesses alleged that the police are trying to twist the whole incident in another direction. They alleged that the biker involved in the incident, Antu Sarkar, was coming on the right side of the road.

But suddenly the e-Rickshaw driver entered the CMO office without showing any signal, and the e-Rickshaw fell on its side, while the bike driver controlled the speed and hit the e-Rickshaw, then the teacher Aarati Das fell from e-Rickshaw and the tom-tom fell on her, causing the teacher to bleed. Witnesses later sent the CMO vehicle to Khowai District Hospital, where the teacher later died.

According to the people of the area and eyewitnesses, the bike rider is not at fault and it is entirely the fault of e-Rickshaw, but the police are against e-Rickshaw and the e-Rickshaw driver has not been brought under the law, only the bike rider Antu Sarkar has been found guilty by the police. Eyewitnesses and locals have strongly protested this incident. They demand that the police should include the guilty e-Rickshaw and e-Rickshaw driver in this case instead of including the innocent bike rider in this case.
