Amarpur, 30th of August 2024 : A five standard studding boy (14) namely Jeet Sahaji of Calvary English Medium High School at Tuidu has been drowned after the school hours when he was taking bath in a pond nearby the school location.
As per the report, due to muddy feet & hotness the boy wanted to have a bath just after the school accomplishment but the pond was full of water and suddenly he has gone to deep water and drowned. By chance it has been noticed by local people. They have recovered him from pond and brought to Tuidu PHC but doctor on duty declared him dead. On being informed Taidu PS police officers have rushed to Tuidu PHC and brought him to Ampi CHC for postmortem. A great shadow of grief has been prevailed amid the locals over this unexpected incident.
