Agartala, Tripura, 15th of August, 2026 : Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu inaugurated the North Eastern Students National Integration Movement (NESNIM) at Holy Cross School, Agartala, Tripura on Friday (14th August, 2026). Organized by the Holy Cross Educational Foundation, this movement will continue till August 17, 2026.
Addressing at the event Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu said, the strength and progress of Tripura and the country depend on the character, outlook and capability of the youth. He said, this event organized at the Holy Cross School proves that the future, of the country is in safe hands.

The Governor emphasized that the young generation is the future and power of the country. He said, the state government is working towards overall development of the youth by honing their talent and inculcating values in-them so as to make them capable of facing the future challenges.
The Governor said, although the NESNIM has started as a peace initiative, it has become a vibrant platform to uphold the sentiment of ‘Ek Bharat, Shresth Bharat’. This movement for more than 25 years, has been uniting the diverse culture, language and students of the different states of Northeast, so that they could experience how to learn, grow and live in harmony together.
Welcome address was delivered by the Secretary of Holy Cross Educational Foundation Father George Jackob, CSC and President Father Abraham Kochupurakkal, CSC. Vote of thanks was given by the Principal of Holy Cross School, Agartala, Father Jilson Tom, CSC.

The students of Holy Cross School, representing different states of the Northeast, presented a colourful cultural programme. Through this event the rich arid diverse cultural heritage of the North-East region has been presented.
