5th Biennial Conference And Blood Donation Camp Organized By Association Of Service Engineers Of Tripura (ASSET).

With the initiative of Association of Service Engineers of Tripura (ASSET) organized Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on the occasion of 5th Biennial Conference at Sukanta Academy Auditorium on Sunday (23rd July, 2023). Aiming to fulfill the crisis of blood in Tripura blood donation camps are going on across the state to meet the shortage of blood. In the presence of many dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has inaugurated voluntary blood donation programme.

“Development of state and country is not possible without development of rural areas. At present, Central and State Governments have given most importance to infrastructure development in rural areas. Engineers play an important role in infrastructure development”, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said at the 5th Biennial Conference and Voluntary Blood Donation Camp of Association of Service Engineers of Tripura (ASSET). On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that 27,65,440 crores have been allocated in the State budget for the financial year 2023-24. Out of this, 5 thousand crore rupees have been allocated for the development of infrastructure. He said that the present Central and State governments are working for the welfare of people in the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The benefits of this will be felt by the countrymen in every case in the future.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister also added that today the north-eastern region of the country including Tripura has progressed in road and air connectivity. Tripura has also improved in railway connectivity. The state’s internet communication system is the third strongest internet system in the country. Engineers are one of the artisans of the development of these branches of society. The Chief Minister said, nothing can be a great donation like blood donation, there is no alternative. Blood donation has now become a festival in the State. Responding to the Government’s request, various organizations, clubs have come forward to donate blood.

General Secretary of Association of Service Engineers of Tripura (ASSET) Sonaranjan Debbarma delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. Association of Service Engineers of Tripura (ASSET) has donated Rs. 1 Lakh to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Dr. Sandeep R. Rathod, Secretary of the Rural Development Department, Swapan Kumar Das, Chief Architect of Rural Development Department, Social activist Rajib Bhattacharjee and other dignitaries were present in the 5th Biennial Conference and Voluntary Blood Donation Camp. Mihir Kanti Gope, President of Association of Service Engineers of Tripura (ASSET) has concluded the ceremony with vote of thanks.
