Agartala, Tripura, 23rd of November 2025 : The NCC Alumni Association of Tripura in collaboration with 13 Tripura BN NCC observed the 77th NCC Raising Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour as cadets of 13 Tripura Battalion NCC ,Maharaja Bir Bikram College (MBB College), Bir Bikram Memorial College, ICFAI University , Sri Krishna Mission School, Umakant Academy, Resham Bagan School, and various other institutions took part in a series of activities organised to mark the occasion. The celebratory event, held on Friday, began from the historic Ujjayanta Palace and concluded at the 13 Tripura Battalion Office, Motor Stand, showcasing the discipline, energy, and commitment of NCC cadets toward community welfare and nation-building. The Agartala Cycling Association & Voluntary Health Association of Tripura also taken part in this rally on the theme Nasha Mukta Tripura Abhiyan.

The programme featured a diverse range of fitness and awareness events including a rally, marathon, cyclothon, and walkathon, each aimed at promoting physical well-being, environmental responsibility, and civic awareness among the youth. Cadets marched in synchrony through the city streets, drawing the attention of citizens and spreading messages of unity, national integration, and youth empowerment.
The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries. The Chief Guest, Tripura Sports Minister Shri Tinku Roy, commended the cadets for their unwavering dedication and highlighted the crucial role of NCC in shaping responsible and capable future leaders of the nation. He encouraged the youth to actively participate in such initiatives that strengthen character, discipline, and social commitment.

Also present on the occasion was Colonel Roshan Zameer, Commanding Officer, 13 Tripura Battalion, who appreciated the cadets for their spirited participation. He emphasized the Battalion’s continuous efforts in fostering teamwork, leadership qualities, and patriotic values among students across the state. Several invited guests like Tripura NCC Alumni Association members, ANOs and faculty members from various institutions also attended the programme, adding to the significance of the celebration.
The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony at the battalion office, where outstanding participants were acknowledged for their exemplary contribution. The atmosphere remained vibrant throughout, reflecting the core values of the National Cadet Corps—Unity and Discipline.

The successful organisation of the 77th NCC Raising Day not only reaffirmed the commitment of the NCC in building empowered youth but also showcased Tripura’s growing spirit of community engagement and national pride.
The NCC Alumni Association of Tripura has planned to conduct several activities like health camp, drawing competitions, online quiz competitions and blood donation camp, etc. in the upcoming Tripura NCC fest on 03/12/2025 at Tripura Institute of Technology.
