Agartala, Tripura, 30th of June 2026 : The Nine day of the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC)-50, organized by 13 Tripura Battalion NCC, Agartala, was conducted with great enthusiasm and active participation by the NCC cadets at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel, Agartala.

A total of 545 NCC cadets participated in the day’s activities, comprising 307 SD/JD cadets and 238 SW/JW cadets. The training was supervised by 2 Officers, 7 JCOs, 14 NCOs, 10 ANOs/CTOs, and 1 GCI, ensuring the smooth conduct of all scheduled events.
The day’s training commenced with firing practice, where cadets demonstrated discipline, confidence, and safe weapon handling under expert supervision. This was followed by an informative Weapon Display by 35 Assam Rifles, providing cadets with an opportunity to learn about various modern weapons and military equipment. A Weapon Training Class further enhanced their knowledge of weapon handling, safety procedures, and operational aspects.

As the camp approached its conclusion, the cadets showcased their talents during the Final Cultural Programme, presenting vibrant performances that reflected unity, patriotism, teamwork, and cultural diversity. The atmosphere became even more memorable as the cadets celebrated the birthday of a fellow cadet with the Camp Commandant, strengthening the spirit of camaraderie and togetherness.
The Camp Commandant Col. NS Baath delivered the Closing Address, appreciating the dedication, discipline, and active participation of all cadets throughout the camp. He encouraged them to uphold the ideals of the NCC and continue serving the nation with commitment and integrity.

The day’s schedule also included biometric attendance and concluded with the traditional Evening Roll Call, marking another successful and enriching day of CATC-50.
The camp continues to provide valuable military-oriented training, leadership development, and character-building opportunities, preparing young cadets to become responsible citizens and future leaders.
