Dharmanagar, Tripura, 30h of June 2026 : The Block Project Management Unit (BPMU), Dasda, emerged as the Best Performing BPMU under the Tripura Rural Economic Growth and Service Delivery Project (TRESP) during the District-Level Review Meeting and Annual Action Plan for FY 2026–27, held under the District Project Management Unit (DPMU), North Tripura.
The meeting was chaired by the District Magistrate of North Tripura and attended by the Additional District Magistrate, the Block Development Officers of Dasda, Laljuri, Jampui Hill and Damcherra RD Blocks, the Deputy Director of the Animal Resources Development Department (ARDD), the Sub-Divisional Fishery Officer, TRESP officials, and representatives of various line departments.
The review focused on assessing the progress of TRESP interventions across the district and finalising the Annual Action Plan for FY 2026–27 to further strengthen livelihood promotion, convergence, and effective project implementation.
Recognising excellence in field-level performance, the District Administration honoured outstanding performers who have made significant contributions to the success of the project. Dasda BPMU received the Best Performing BPMU Award for its consistent achievements, efficient implementation of project activities, and dedicated efforts in supporting rural communities.
Awards were also presented to Bharati Nath of Laljuri RD Block as Best Pashu Sakhi, Rahabi Reang of Damcherra RD Block as Best Matsya Sakhi, and Anita Marak of Damcherra RD Block as Best Krishi Sakhi for their exceptional commitment to community-based livelihood development.
The District Magistrate appreciated the efforts of TRESP officials, community cadres, and partner departments, emphasizing that coordinated action and dedicated fieldwork are essential for achieving sustainable and inclusive rural development. The recognition of Dasda BPMU stands as a testament to the team’s commitment to delivering quality outcomes and advancing the objectives of TRESP in North Tripura.
