Amarpur, Tripura, 12th of February 2026 : With the initiative of Ampi block TMP organization thanks giving rally has been conducted here in Ampi Nagar Gomati Tripura today. On this occasion a large number of TMP block leaders, TMP wings local activists and indigenous people from different VCs of Ampi Nagar block have assembled here in the programme and marched on Teliamura-Amarpur road including market lanes at Ampi.
The rally has thanked Bubagra for his boundless struggle for VC election implementation in TTAADC and in the long run his appeal to supreme court has created better outcome for the people of TTAADC. The honourable supreme court has instructed Tripura state government to conduct ADC & VC election together immediately. Stating the media persons Ampi 41 constituency MLA Pathan Lal Jamatia & Ampi block TMP president Sanjay Jamatia have expressed their satisfactory statements over the favourable S.C decree for VC election 2026.
“We express our sincere gratitude to Maharaja Pradyut Kishore Debbarman and the honourable supreme court of India for protecting democratic rights by directing the conduct of the VC election” they said. As per the local reports, due to prolonged VC election pending situation panchayat level administration was not appreciable for last 10 years. It is expected that after completion of VC election the administrative atmosphere will be advantageous for the common people.
