BJP’s Show Of Strength Ahead Of Dharmanagar By-Election, Massive Rally Led By Chief Minister.

Dharmanagar, Tripura, 6th of April, 2026 : Political tension is steadily rising ahead of the 56- Dharmanagar by-election scheduled for April 9. In this context, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a massive rally in Dharmanagar town on Monday evening, drawing significant public attention as it passed through key roads of the city.Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha was present at the rally, energizing party workers and supporters with his participation. Other prominent leaders included North District BJP President Kajal Das, BJP candidate for Dharmanagar constituency Jahar Chakraborty, State Minister and district election in-charge Sudhangshu Das, BJP Vice President Tapas Bhattacharya, along with several senior leaders from district and mandal levels.

As evening fell, the entire town was draped in saffron colors. BJP candidate Jahar Chakraborty, in his address, said, “The people of Dharmanagar want development and stability. We are reaching out to every household with that goal.” He expressed confidence that he would win the by-election with a significant margin and fulfill public expectations.North District BJP President Kajal Das remarked that the rally was not just a political event but a reflection of public support. “The people of Dharmanagar have already made up their minds—they will vote for development,” he said.Security arrangements were also tightened during the rally.
