New Delhi, Delhi, 16th of September, 2026 : A free “Women’s Health and Legal Awareness Camp” (Her Health First) was successfully organized today by Mr. Abhishek Tomar, a youth leader of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee, in the Trilokpuri Assembly constituency (Block No. 6) of East Delhi. Running from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, nearly 60 to 70 local women attended the camp and took advantage of free medical and legal consultations.
Mr. Laxman Rawat, Vice President of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee and In-Charge of North-East Delhi Lok Sabha, was present as the Chief Guest. Other prominent regional leaders in attendance included Mr. Bal Kishan Bali (Karawal Nagar District In-Charge), Mr. Rajkumar Marothia (Senior Leader, Trilokpuri Assembly), and Mr. Rajiv Verma (Chairman, OBC Department of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee).
Senior Doctors and Lawyers Provided Free Services
Renowned gynecologists Dr. Divya Deshwal and Dr. Bhamini reviewed the daily routines of the attending women and held an open discussion on the rising hormonal issues caused by modern lifestyles. They provided free health guidance to encourage better well-being.
Simultaneously, to raise awareness about law and security, senior advocate Amit Nayar, advocate Kanika Jaitly, and youth leader Abhishek Tomar’s legal team offered free legal counsel on topics regarding women’s rights, domestic safety, and legal aid.
Ashira Foundation’s Resolve: ‘Nari Kavach’ to Reach Every Household
During the event, the social organization Ashira Foundation reiterated its resolve to implement its special ‘Nari Kavach’ initiative at the grassroots level. The foundation aims to empower women across health, security, and self-reliance.
