Mumbai, Maharashtra, 28th of May 2026 : Reliance Foundation CSR spend rises to Rs 2,248 crore in FY26; over 9.7 crore lives touched since inception.

• Reliance spent Rs 2,248 crore towards CSR in FY 2025-26, up from Rs 2,156 crore in FY 2024-25 – a 4.3% increase. This takes its post-COVID CSR spend above Rs 9,500 crore.
• Since its inception, Reliance Foundation has reached over 9.7 crore people across India through social initiatives spanning rural transformation, education, healthcare, sports, animal welfare, and environment – aligned with national priorities.
- The Reliance Foundation Scholarships, launched in 2020–21, have been supporting 5,100 students annually. An independent impact study (by Athena Infonomics India) found that for every Rs 1 invested in RF Scholarships, Rs 4.4 of social value is created – demonstrating strong returns in education, employability, and long-term societal impact.
- Rural Transformation Programme: The programme empowers marginalised rural communities across India through climate-resilient agriculture, improved water resource management, and inclusive value chain development. Impact data: Dairy farmers saw milk production increase from 6.14 to 10.37 litres per day; average annual dairy income rose from Rs 79,242 to Rs 1,30,395 (64.6% increase); adoption of artificial insemination reached 81% and green fodder cultivation 98% among participating farmers. Overall annual household income increased by approximately 56%
- Animal Welfare – Vantara: Reliance’s animal rescue, conservation, and rehabilitation centre Vantara has cared for, treated, and provided lifelong support to over 1.5 lakh animals. Mr Anant Ambani received the Global Humanitarian Award for 2025, presented by the Global Humane Society, for his dedication and commitment to wildlife. He is the youngest and first Asian to receive this distinction.
- Sports: Reliance Foundation’s sports programme has achieved measurable outcomes in athlete development. Key findings show strong athlete progression, high levels of athlete-centred training, and robust program delivery. The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre has established itself as a premier arts and culture destination. Mrs Nita M. Ambani, Founder and Chairperson, Reliance Foundation, received the Global Peace Honour Award and the KISS Humanitarian Award 2025 for outstanding humanitarian initiatives.
- Disaster Response: Reliance Foundation provided early warning to fishing and farming communities during Cyclone Montha, and was felicitated by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for its exemplary contribution in mitigating the cyclone’s impact. RF won eight awards for communication and storytelling, including at the International Innovation SABRE Awards South Asia 2025.
- Women Empowerment: Under RF’s digital literacy and financial inclusion intervention, over 75% of women participants reported improved financial confidence; 50% reported improved participation in household financial decisions; two-thirds noted reduced gender disparities. Reliance Foundation’s long-term ambition is to significantly scale impact across education, women empowerment, and rural livelihoods.
- Awards received in FY 2025-26: RF Skilling and Employment received the Indian CSR Award 2025 for ‘Best Skill Development Initiative’; RF’s Rural Transformation programme won at the 19th CII National Awards for Excellence in Water Management 2025; RF received the Best Corporate Promoting Sports – High Performance award at FICCI India Sports Awards 2025.
