Agartala, Tripura, 28th of July, 2026 : A duckling distribution programme was organized at the Lok Bhavan on Tuesday (28th July, 2026). At the programme Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu distributed ducklings to five SHGs of Mohanpur RD Block of West Tripura district.
Addressing on the occasion the Governor said that Tripura has immense prospects in duck farming which can play a significant role in providing rural livelihood and sustainable income for the locals. On this occasion the Governor also felicitated the BDO of Mohanpur RD Block and Pradhan of Bijoynagar Gram Panchayat for attaining second position at the national level in category-5 (e-governance).
Today’s programme was the third phase of distributing ducklings among SHGs under the aegis of Lok Bhavan. Among others were present UK Chakma, secretary to the Governor, Pradhan of Bijoynagar GP, BDO of Mohanpur RD Block and other officials of the block. This news has been shared by the Lok Bhavan.
