Madhunikkan Nritya & Sangeet Vidyalaya Hosts Annual Cultural Programme 2026 With Vibrant Performances.

Khowai, Tripura, 2nd of August, 2026 : The Madhunikkan Nritya & Sangeet Vidyalaya Institute was established in 2008. For the past 18 years, the institution has been running successfully with a good reputation. Through the dedicated efforts of the institution’s founder and director, Jagruti Gope, several branches have been established at different locations across Khowai district. The institution is now moving forward with plans to establish more Madhunikkan Nritya & Sangeet Vidyalaya institute at various places across the state in the coming days.

With the initiative of Madhunikkan Institute organized the Annual Cultural Programme at Khowai, Tripura on Saturday (1st August, 2026). At the beginning of the programme, young children presented a welcome dance performance, marking the inauguration of the event.

The programme was formally inaugurated by Panchayat Samiti Vice Chairman Uttam Adhikari by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

The event was also attended by former District President Jaydeb Debbarma, Secretary of the Sangeet Nritya Society Shivani Goswami, senior journalist Asit Baran Ghosh, and other distinguished guests.

At the beginning of the programme, Uttam Gope delivered the welcome address. He highlighted the journey of Madhunikkan Institute over the past 18 years, explaining how the institution has reached its present position through dedication and hard work. He also expressed gratitude to everyone for their continuous support and requested their cooperation and encouragement in the future as well.

The chief guest and inaugurator of the programme, Uttam Adhikari, address in detail about the success and achievements of the institution. He expressed hope that the institution would continue to progress further and achieve greater heights in the coming days.

This year, a student of Madhunikkan Institute reached the final round of Tripura’s biggest reality dance show, “Dance Tripura Dance”, and impressed the judges with her outstanding performance and talent.

At the conclusion of the programme, prizes were distributed among the children by the invited guests and the head of the institution.
