Agartala, 2nd of February, 2024 : As a part of special “Anti-smuggling Drive’ BSF Tripura, on 2nd Feb 2024, in joint ops with department of Customs Agartala BSF troops successfully seized 220 Kgs of Ganja worth Rs. 33,00,000/- from a house located in Jalaibari, PO- Mantala, Ps- Sidhai, Sub Div- Mohanpur, Dist West Tripura.
In another such operation on 1st Feb 2024 in the area of Border out post Karamtilla near Kalachera on NH-08 Dist South Tripura, BSF troops seized a big consignment of clothing items worth Rs. 48,25,500/-loaded in a vehicle and detained 01 Indian national (Driver).
BSF is fully committed to eradicate the menace of drugs trafficking /narcotics smuggling in the state of Tripura besides safeguarding the international border in Tripura.
