Manipur, 6th of March 2024 : Assam Rifles convened a vital security assembly at Village Borobekra and Lamdaikhunao in Jiribam district of Manipur on 03 March 2024.
Representatives including village chairmen, secretaries from the villages of Borobekra actively participated in the meeting. A total of 20 representatives from Hmar, Paithe, and Kuki communities from Village Borobekra, and 45 from the Meitei community from Village Lamdaikhunao were in attendance. The discussions on pressing issues affecting Manipur, emphasizing the importance of unity, peace and development were carried out.
The dialogue centered on fostering a culture of peace and prosperity across all communities, with an emphasis on peaceful conflict resolution strategies. The local populace expressed gratitude to Assam Rifles for their unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and security in the region.
