Agartala, Tripura, 3rd May, 2025 : Again, On specific information regarding infiltration of one Bangladeshi national (Female) and two Indian (Malie-2) Human Trafficking were arrested from Agartala Railway Station on Saturday (3rd May, 2025). They entered India from Bangladesh illegally. And they came to Agartala Railway Station with the intention of crossing the state by train.
They came to Agartala railway station with the intention of travelling abroad by train. Agartala GRPS, RPF, BSF and the intelligence department jointly conducted this operation. During initial interrogation, they said that they were going to Hyderabad.
A team of officers from GRP Police Station is interrogating them in phases at Agartala GRP Police Station and it is estimated that many more may be arrested in this case, so far the police team estimates that more information may come out of them. A case has been registered at Agartala GRP police station in this regard and they will be sent to the Court.
According to GRP the names of the arrested person Mamuda (30) District Shariatpur, Bangladesh, Krishna Debnath (32), Battala PS, Sabroom South Tripura (Indian Tout), Tutan Dey (28) Rajnagar PS, Sabroom South Tripura (Indian Tout). Officer In-Charge of Agartala GRP Tapas Das gave details about this today.
