Mumbai, Maharashtra, 28th of October 2025 : Reliance Jio has further strengthened its leadership in the North East telecom circle, connecting over 3 lakh homes through its wireline and Fixed-Wireless broadband (5G and UBR) services. This milestone stands as a testament to the growing trust, preference, and acceptance of Jio’s digital services by customers across the region.

As per the latest Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) report for September 2025, Jio’s subscriber base in the North East continues to show robust growth. The company leads with 2,29,709 wireline subscribers, along with 76,636 Fixed-Wireless (5G) and 8,623 UBR connections, collectively powering over 3 lakh digitally connected homes across the region.
Through continued expansion of its fiber and 5G-based broadband network, Jio is transforming digital access and connectivity for people across the North East — enabling smoother communication, online education, entertainment, and remote work even in remote and rural areas.
At the national level, Reliance Jio remains India’s largest telecom operator, leading across both wireless and wireline segments, reaffirming its position as the country’s most preferred digital service provider.
