Tribal Welfare, Handloom, Handicrafts Minister Of Tripura Bikash Debbarma Joins Khowai District Level Observance Marking 150th Anniversary Of India’s National Song ‘Vande Mataram’.

Khowai, Tripura, 7th of November, 2025 : Khowai District Level commemorated 150 years of India’s National Song Vande Mataram programme held at Dasaratha Deb Memorial College, Khowai on Friday (7th November, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Tribal Welfare, Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture, Statistics Minister Bikash Debbarma inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp.

Chief guest Hon’ble Forest, Science & Technology Minister Animesh Debbarma and other dignitaries offered floral tributes to the portrait of Bharat Mata as a mark of respect.

Addressing at the celebration of 150th Anniversary Of India’s National Song ‘Vande Mataram’ Hon’ble Tribal Welfare, Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture, Statistics Minister Bikash Debbarma said that “Vande Mataram is not merely a song or a poem; it is a symbol of our national consciousness. This single phrase played a unique role in India’s freedom movement.

Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Khowai District Magistrate & Collector Rajat Pant, , Principal of Dasharath Deb Memorial College Dr. Khokan Majumder and many other distinguished dignitaries were present in the event.
