Teliamura, Tripura, 7th of November, 2025 : With the initiative of Teliamura Sub-Divisional Administration, a commemorative program celebrating the 150th anniversary of “Vande Mataram” was held at Kabi Nazrul Vidya Bhavan Higher Secondary School in Teliamura on Friday (7th November, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Whip of Tripura Legislative Assembly and MLA Kalyani Roy inaugurated the event.
Chief guest Kalyani Saha Roy and other dignitaries offered floral tributes to the portrait of Bharat Mata as a mark of respect.
Addressing at the celebration of 150th Anniversary of India’s National Song ‘Vande Mataram’ Hon’ble Chief Whip of Tripura Legislative Assembly and MLA Kalyani Roy said that the song Vande Mataram has always served as a unique source of national consciousness and patriotic inspiration for Indians. She also added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is creating a new historic chapter—from the celebration of the 75th anniversary of independence to the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Teliamura of Teliamura Apurba Krishna Chakraborty, Chairperson of the Teliamura Municipal Council Rupak Sarkar, Vice-Chairperson Madhusudan Roy, Achintya Bhattacharya, Chairperson of the Council’s Standing Committee on Sports and Culture Achintya Bhattacharjee and many other distinguished dignitaries were present in the event.
