Agartala, Tripura, 27th of June, 2025 : On four day visit of Tripura, Shri Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal, IPS, Additional Director General (ADG), BSF Eastern Command ( Kolkata) alongwith Shri Ashwani Kumar Sharma, Inspector General (IG), BSF Tripura visited the Border Out Posts falling under districts of West Tripura,Sepahijela, South Tripura, Gomati and Dhalai.
During the visit th ADG interacted with BSF jawans and field commanders, took stock of security scenario, and reviewed operational preparedness.
On 27th June 2025, ADG BSF addressed a Sainik Sammelan at BSF Salbagan . Lauding the tireless efforts and dedication of BSF officers and men in safeguarding the borders in Tripura he stressed the importance of good health, physical fitness and discipline.
ADG BSF called on Sh Indrasena Reddy Nallu, Hon’ble Governor of Tripura, Prof (Dr.) Manik Saha, Hon’ble Chief minister of Tripura and further had courtesy meeting with Sh J K Sinha, IAS, chief secretary, Govt of Tripura and Sh Anurag, IPS, DGP Tripura Police and discussed various operational and administrative issues for effective border management in the state of Tripura.
