Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha Inaugurates Chinmaya Hari Hara Vidyalaya And Bhoomi Pujan Of Chinmaya Sundarayi Temple At  West Taranagar, Mohanpur.

Agartala, Tripura, 27th of June, 2025 :  With the initiative of Chinmaya Mission of Tripura,  Chinmaya Hari Hara Vidyalaya inauguration ceremony has been organized at West Taranagar, Mohanpur Agartala, Tripura on Friday (27th June, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the event.

Addressing at the inauguration ceremony of Chinmaya Hari Hara Vidyalaya and Bhoomi Pujan of Chinmaya Sundarayi Temple Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said “the more study, the more knowledge will be able to acquire. Acquiring knowledge means moving from darkness to light.”. The Chief Minister said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the more educated the people of a country are, the more advanced the country will be in terms of knowledge and science. At the inaugural ceremony, the Chief Minister awarded a laptop to visually impaired Papon Sutradhar, who recently secured a place in the Tet-II exam.

“At one time, students from different countries of the world used to come to study in universities like Nalanda, Taxila etc. Chinmaya Mission has taken the initiative to revive the traditional education of India. Their initiative is commendable. In 1953, Swami Chinmayananda founded Chinmaya Mission. Chinmaya Mission is working to make people’s minds creative and expand their minds. For this, he thanked Chinmaya Mission. If we can acquire knowledge through education, it is possible to move forward by solving various problems. In the current digital era, students need to acquire knowledge in various other subjects along with reading textbooks. For this, the State Government has taken various initiatives. The State Government has also taken various initiatives to educate students in quality education.” Chief Minister added.

The Chief Minister also added that the National Education Policy has also been launched in the state. On June 23, Tripura was declared a fully literate State. This is a matter of pride for our State. So far, 1 lakh 22 thousand bicycles have been given free of cost to encourage girl students to study. 140 Scoots have been given to  class XII passed for achieving remarkable results. Scholarships have been given to 200 meritorious students. The studies in 3 new colleges in Ambassa, Kakraban and Karbook will start soon. Initiatives have been taken to open examination centers in Agartala, Udaipur and Ambasa for various competitive exams for jobs.

Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Hon’ble Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath, Swami Subhakarananda Maharaj, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya,Viveknagar, Padma Shri Ar. CN Raghavendran, Social activist GR Rabindra Raj,  President of Chinmaya Mission Tripura branch Amit Rakshit, Swami Mitrananda of Chinmaya Mission cadets and many other dignitaries were present in the inaugural ceremony.
