Annamrita Foundation (Formerly known as ISKCON Food for Life) is an implementing agency of Mid-Day Meal serving up to 12 lac meals on everyday from it’s 21 mega kitchens installed at different locations across 07 (seven) states in India including Tripura. This organization is the world’s largest vegetarian non-profit food relief foundation. When COVID19 pandemic has become widespread in India, leading to the Government declaring a complete nationwide Lockdown till 14^th April 2020, Annamrita Foundation provided free meals to the underprivileged and needy in streets and slums through it’s various mega kitchens in Maharashtra, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh.

Due to the severe impact of the pandemic’s second wave, in order to provide nourishment to the COVID Patients and also those who are working tirelessly to save lives, Annamrita foundation has once again started serving nutritious free meals under the banner of KARUNA Food For Life to the hospitals and COVID Care Centres across India with bold hands.

Being a part of this noble job, Team Annamrita, Tripura has also launched this service recently at Agartala with full potentiality. The meals basically included packed hygiene food like milk & juice or dry food or fresh fruits are being served to all the COVID Patients, Healthcare staffs including Doctors, Nurses, Assistant Staffs etc. Annamrita Foundation will extend the services to the caregivers of patients and also other Front Line Workers like security personnel or Media personnel.
