Block Level TLM Competition Under NIPUN Tripura Organized By Inspector Of Schools Teliamura.

With the initiative of Inspector of Schools Teliamura has been organized Block Level TLM Competition Under NIPUN (National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy) Tripura at Teliamura Inspectorate premises on Friday (4th August, 2023).

In the field of education, TLM is a commonly used acronym that stands for “teaching/learning materials.” The phrase broadly, the term refers to a spectrum of educational materials that teachers use in the classroom to support specific learning objectives, as set out in lesson planes. These can be games, videos, flashcards, project supplies, and more. Using TLM can greatly assist students in their learning process.

The department has so far taken several initiatives to encourage teachers in the proper use of TLMS. NIPUN (National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy) Corners have already been set up in all schools across the state. Moreover, Tripura recently participated in the G20 (EdWG) Education Working Group (EdWG) Summit held in Pune, Maharashtra. TLMs of the state were highly encouraged by visitors. As a part of that, to encourage teachers to use it according to individual child’s needs, a TLM development competition has been organized at district and state level. With that aim, the competition to make TLM made by teachers was completed on Friday at Teliamura school inspector office.

This competition is held at the block level under the initiative of Teliamura School Inspector. On this day, 30 primary level teachers from different schools participated under the Teliamura School Inspector. From here, the top three in the language section and mathematics section will get an opportunity to participate in the district level competition, said school inspector Biswajit Debbarma. Headmistress of Maharanipur H.S School, Teliamura Government English Medium H.S School and Assistant Headmaster of Vivekananda H.S School and many others remained present in this programme.
