Celebration Of Birth Anniversary Of Kazi Nazrul Islam Organized By ICA Department.

Agartala, 25th of May, 2024 : With the initiative of Information & Cultural Affairs Department Government of Tripura celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Kazi Nazrul Islam at Nazrul Kalakshetra on Saturday (25th May, 2024).

Information & Cultural Affairs Department Government of Tripura organized “Pravati Anusthan” at Nazrul Kalakshetra, Agartala at 7 AM.  At the beginning of the program, Secretary of Information & Cultural Affairs Department Government of Tripura Dr. Pradip Kumar Chakraborty along with other dignitaries paid Floral homage their respects to Kazi Nazrul Islam the occasion of Kazi Nazrul Islam’s birth anniversary at the Nazrul Kalakshetra.

With the initiative of Information & Cultural Affairs Department Government of Tripura “Kabi Pranam” programme also organized at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan, Agartala at evening. “Kazi Nazrul Islam regarded as one of the greatest poets in Bengali literature. Nazrul was a poet, singer, philosopher and patriot.”, Secretary of ICA Department Dr. Pradip Kumar Chakraborty said at the birth anniversary celebration ceremony of Kazi Nazrul Islam.

On this auspicious occasion artists performed their traditional cultural programs likes dance, song etc. to beautify the ceremony. In today’s the birth anniversary ceremony apart from the Secretary of ICA Department, Joint Director of ICA Sanjib Chakma, students and many other dignitaries were present in the programme.
