Agartala,Tripura, 30th Of December 2024 : ABRSM, Tripura, Date : 25^th December 2024. The 300^th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar is being commemorated across Higher Education Institutes of Tripura by Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM), Tripura (Mahavidyalaya Shiksha). Under this endeavoura series of lectures titled ‘Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar Tricentenary Baykhanmala’has been organized in 25 colleges and technical institutes spread across seven organizational khandas of the statefrom 6^th to 21^stDecember 2024. These programs were aimed at highlighting the life, contributions, and legacy of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar, an epitome of good governance, justice, and women empowerment.

The lectures emphasizing Lokmata Ahilyabai’s remarkable leadership and devotion to public welfare saw enthusiastic participation of faculty members and students. Distinguished academicians namely Professor Arvind Mahato (Professor IGNOU and Additional General Secretary, Higher Education, ABRSM);Smt. Sucharita Somdev (Vice President, Rashtriya Sevika Samiti, Assam Region); Dr. Arjun Gope (Associate Professor and Saha-Pramukh, Assam Kshetra, ABRSM); Dr. Haradhan Saha (Principal, S.V. Mahavidyalaya, Mohanpur), Dr. Chitra Pal (Former Principal, Ramthakur College, Agartala)and others graced the programmes as resource persons.

The lectureshave been a resounding success, fostering a deeper understanding of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar’s exemplary life, her unwavering commitment to public service, social harmony and governance which inspired students and educators alike. ABRSM’s efforts in organizing these events have further strengthened awareness about Devi Ahilyabai’s legacy and her timeless contributions to society.
