Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha Inaugurates New Car For Drinking Service In Cricket Field.

Agartala, Tripura, 30th of May, 2025 : With the initiative of the Tripura Cricket Association inauguration ceremony of New car for drinking service in cricket field and Blood donation camp organized at MBB Club House, Agartala, Tripura on Friday (30th May, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the two battery-powered new car for drinking service in cricket field and Voluntary Blood Donation Camp by lighting the lamp.

Addressing at the inauguration ceremony of the event Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that the current State Government is taking various initiatives to discover new talent in the field of sports. Along with this, importance is being given to developing the state’s sports infrastructure. The State cricket body TCA plays a major role in finding cricket talent and improving the quality of cricket. The Chief Minister said that apart from the urban areas, there are many talented players in the marginal areas of the State. They need to be brought forward.

“The athletes that one of the keys to success in sports is regular practice. In this regard, sports instructors and coaches also have a responsibility. Coaches should also be aware of the advantages and disadvantages and problems of the players. It is also necessary to build a good relationship between the players and the coaches. The Chief Minister expressed the hope that this will lead to the real development of talent. The State Government is equally responsible for the development of the sports world and the athletes. Currently, the state is moving forward with transparency in every field. The Chief Minister said that the Tripura Cricket Association is not only showing its responsibility in the cricket arena but also in social work. Be it the terrible floods of last year or the Corona situation, TCA has shown its social responsibility in every field. ”, Chief Minister added.

Regarding blood donation at the event, the Chief Minister said that there is no alternative to blood donation. Only people can fill the blood shortage through blood donation. However, it is necessary to maintain a balance between the demand and supply of blood. The State Blood Transfusion Board is doing this work efficiently. Currently, there are 14 blood banks in the state, both government and private. The Chief Minister called on various clubs and organizations associated with TCA to come forward to donate blood. At the event, the Chief Minister visited the blood donation camp and encouraged the blood donors.

The welcome address was delivered by Tripura Cricket Association Secretary Subrata Dey at the inaugural ceremony of new car for drinking service in cricket field and Blood donation camp. Debashis Chandra Das, Regional Manager of SBI, also spoke at the event. According to report, 114 blood donors donated blood in today’s blood donation camp. Hon’ble Youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education, Minister Tinku Roy, members of TCA and may other distinguished dignitaries were present in the ceremony. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by President of Tripura Cricket Association Tapan Lodh.
