Agartala, 12th of March 2024 : Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the newly constructed building of Nagerjala Bus Stand, Agartala on Tuesday (12th March, 2024).
“The Government is working to provide better services to the people by building modern infrastructure. And for the purpose of fulfilling that goal, advanced infrastructure and modern buildings are being built in the State.” Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said at the inauguration ceremony of newly constructed buildings of Nagerjala Bus Stand today. The Chief Minister said that Tripura has now progressed a lot in terms of infrastructural development. Through the implementation of all these programs, better services will be provided to the citizens as well as employment opportunities. Nagerjala bus stand was once a fallen water and unusable place. Due to the constructive approach of the present government, such places are now being utilized for the welfare of people. The inauguration of this terminal building at Nagerjala will bring many benefits to the long distance passengers.
Commissioner Transport Department Uttam Mandal delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. Hon’ble Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport and Tourism minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Dipak Majumder, Corporator of AMC Abhijit Mallik, TRTC Vice Chairman Samar Roy, Additional Secretary of Transport Subrata Chowdhury and many other dignitaries were present in the inauguration ceremony. TRTC Chairman Balai Goswami has concluded the ceremony with vote of thanks.
