Santirbazar, 29th of December 2023 : Targeting to create awareness over many important administrative social issues the police officials of Debdaru OP has conducted mega Prayaas programme in Debdaru market under beat no 8 in the jurisdiction of Baikhora PS in Santirbazar in South Tripura. To create awareness over road traffic violations by the drivers/riders, helmetless riding, wearing helmet of pillion riders as well as speeding and drunken driving the police officials have discussed elaborately. The officials have warned the participants over the dangerous consequences of these outlaw issues. They have also discussed regarding maximum speed limit of varies type of roads/highway and to wearing helmet of IS 4151:2015 marks and regarding DL seize if the drivers/riders violated the section 206 of MV Act. Approx 100 local drivers/riders, motor syndicate members including local people have attended in this mega Prayaas meeting. Meeting was started from 08.30 am to 10.00 am. The local people have appreciated the initiative of the social awareness generation and thanked the concerned police officials for their good job.
