Teliamura, 29th of December 2023 : With the initiative of Government Degree College, Teliamura celebrated Fresher’s Day at Teliamura on Friday (29th December, 2023). College organize Fresher’s Day every year. The main aim of this celebration is to give an affectionate welcome to new students.
In the presence of many dignitaries MLA and Chief Whip of Tripura Legislative Assembly Kalyani Roy inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Chief Whip of Tripura Legislative Assembly Kalyani Roy delivered a speech addressing to the students for their all-round development and motivated the students with her inspirational words. She said that not only in studies but also as a real person in the society, she urged the students to always stand with the people.
In today’s programme apart from the MLA and Chief Whip of Tripura Legislative Assembly Kalyani Roy, Teliamura Municipal Councillor Rupak Sarkar, Teliamura Municipal Vice Chairman Madhusudan Roy, Teliamura Sub-Divisional Police Officer Prasun Kanti Tripura, Principal of Government Degree College, Teliamura Dr. Mihir Paul and many other dignitaries were present in the programme.
