Dharmanagar, Tripura, 8th of August, 2026 : Ahead of Independence Day, the North Tripura District Administration is making extensive preparations to ensure the successful implementation of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign across the district from August 9 to 17. A press conference was held on Friday (7th August, 2026) at the conference hall of the District Magistrate’s Office in Dharmanagar.
The press conference was attended by North Tripura District Magistrate Chandni Chandran, the Additional District Magistrate, and other senior administrative officials.
Addressing the media, the District Magistrate said that a series of awareness and patriotic programmes will be organized throughout the district as part of the campaign. Activities will be conducted from the district headquarters to every block and urban area, including Tiranga rallies, cycle rallies, e-rickshaw rallies, patriotic cultural programmes, Rangoli competitions, national flag exhibitions, national flag sale centres, awareness drives, and student participation in various events.
The administration informed that a district-level Tiranga Rally will be held on August 10, while exhibitions, cultural programmes, and other activities will continue at different locations across the district from August 13 to 15.A special attraction will be a large Rangoli artwork stretching from BBI School to Kalibari in Dharmanagar town.
In addition, the campaign will be widely promoted through social media, public awareness drives, leaflet distribution, publicity vehicles, and community outreach programmes.The District Administration has appealed to all citizens to actively participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign while upholding the dignity and respect of the National Flag.
