Khowai, Tripura, 30th of July, 2026 : A boy has been missing for the past five days; his helpless parents have approached media seeking help. According to local sources, it is suspected that he went missing due to his inability to repay a loan of around ₹5–6 lakh.
According to the details of the incident, Dipta Debnath had been bike and scooter repair shop at North Chebri Divyodaya Chowmuhani, Khowai for the past eight years. However, he has been missing for the last five days, and his whereabouts are still unknown.

According to the missing boy’s mother, he had left home in the morning saying that he was going to his shop, but five days have passed and he has still not returned home.
Local residents said that he had reportedly taken loans amounting to more than ₹5–6 lakh from various people. It is alleged that he went missing as he was unable to repay the borrowed money. Meanwhile, his parents and local residents have been searching for him at different places.
