Health Camp On Tradi­tional Healing Treatment Organized.

With the initiative of the NTFP Centre of Excellence (NCE) of Gandhigram a splendid genuine health camp through traditional heali­ng treatment method (naturopathy) has been conducted here in Heritage Park in Kunjaban, Agartala today (16th November, 2022). Aiming to boost the traditional treatment practice which is most genuine since the beginning of our civilization this health camp has been organized to motivate the city people of Agartala. As per the report, a effic­ient team of certified traditional healers (Kabiraj) have taken participation in this health camp and provided naturopathy treatment to the people. Sources said 4 certified traditional healers have handled the whole medical camp where 150 people were treated through this naturopathic way.

The concerned authority has provided medicines to the common people totally free of cost and given essential tips to the participants over this traditional healing process.​ The naturopathic experts have inspired people to preserve and protect medicinal plants and focussed over the awareness of conservation of medicinal species for the​ betterment and secured future of the human health. Amidst the distinguished participants there were Jayakrishnan VK IFS, district forest officer of West Tripura, Sanjoy Majumdar, additional director TPGS, additional director NCE, Ajit Sutradhar, president of poverty alleviation & social justice standing committee and many others were remained present in this inspiring health camp.​
