Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has inaugurated Jirania Law College on Friday (30th December, 2022). In the presence of many dignitaries the Chief Minister has inaugurated this college.
“The State Government has given top priority on quality education in the State and the necessary infrastructure of higher education is being developed in the State”, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said at the inauguration ceremony. The Chief Minister said the present Government has made efforts from the beginning to make the students of the state at par with the students of other advanced states of the country. Improved infrastructure of schools is being developed in various districts, block areas of the State. The Chief Minister urged the management committee of the college to take initiatives so that this law college becomes a center of excellence in the future. The management committee should also look into ensuring that students from different parts of the state get an opportunity to study in the law college.
In the event, Hon’ble Education & Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath in the overall development of the State, the present Government has given highest priority to education, health, agriculture and agriculture related sectors. The Government is working on various schemes to promote quality education. Hon’ble Sports, Information & Cultural Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said, the college will run on PPP (Mode) under the management of Anandanagar Welfare Society of Howrah, West Bengal. Total seats sixty, out of this twenty will be for State students.
Sabhadhipati of West Tripura Zilla Parishad Antara Deb (Sarkar), Jirania Panchayat Samiti Vice Chairman and many others remained present at the ceremony.
