With the initiative of International Chakma Sahitya & Sudom Jodha (ICSSJ) in Collaboration with “DHUDUK” has been organized Conference on “Chakma Language, Scripts & Culture” at Nazrul Kalakshetra on Saturday, (12th November, 2022). Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the three-day international conference on Chakma Language, Scripts & Culture by lighting the lamp.
“The development of its own language, script and culture is necessary for the survival of all community. The Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is responsible for protecting the unique culture, language of all castes in the state”, said Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha while the inauguration of conference on “Chakma Language, Scripts & Culture”. The Chief Minister also said, Chakma community is ahead in everything in education and culture.
The Chief Minister unveiled the magazine on the occasion. Santana Chakma, Hon’ble Minister, Social Welfare and Social Education, Government of Tripura, Dr. Buddha Dhan Chakma MLA of Mizoram and other dignitaries were present in the Conference.
