Ahmedabad, 4th of June, 2025 : Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) won the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 after they beat Punjab Kings in the IPL 2025 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday (3rd June, 2025).
Punjab Kings skipper Shreyas Lyer won the toss and chose to bowl first in the finale. Virat Kohli’s 43(35) helped RCB to post 190/6 from their 20 overs. An incoming Mayank Agarwal steadied the ship while Virat Kohli played the anchor in what was a solid partnership. Chasing 190 runs, Punjab were restricted by RCB bowlers to 184/7 from their 20 overs. Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Punjab Kings by six runs to win the maiden Indian Premier League title.
