Agartala, Tripura, 9th of July, 2025 : The ‘Kalyani Dey Foundation’ organization is the most prominent social organization in Tripura. The ‘Kalyani Dey Foundation’ conducts Social Work, Education, Healthcare at various times across the State. With the initiative of “Kalyani Dey Foundation” has decided to stand by the State’s female footballers to encourage them and take them forward. It was announced that the highest goal scorer in this year’s women’s football league will be given a prize money of two thousand from the Kalyani Dey Foundation.
Director of Kalyani Dey Foundation Abhishek Dey has written a letter to Tripura Football Association Secretary Amit Chowdhury informing him of the matter. Lt. Kalyani Dey, a prominent social activist and director of the State’s Bengali Newspaper, Syandan Patrika, she was also a councilor of the Agartala Municipal Corporation.
In her memory, the ‘Kalyani Dey Foundation’ was established with the aim of supporting weaker sections of the society and doing social work. Especially for the service of the helpless people including old age homes, orphanages, ‘Kalyani Dey Foundation’ has been working continuously. This time, it has come forward to encourage female footballers.
