Khowai Acharya Samaj Kalyan Parishad Holds Extended Meeting & Felicitates Meritorious Students.

Khowai, Tripura, 15th of August 2026 : With the initiative of the Tripura Acharya Samaj Kalyan Parishad, Khowai District Committee organized a special extended meeting at the residence of Biswajit Acharya in Kunjaban village, Kalyanpur, Khowai, Tripura on Saturday (15th August, 2026). The meeting was chaired by District President Malay Acharya.

At the beginning of the programme, the guests were welcomed by the local women members of the Acharya community with floral bouquets, and traditional uttariya. The meeting began with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp. The programme was formally inaugurated after floral tributes were offered to Bharat Mata and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

Narayan Acharya delivered the welcome address. Parishad Secretary Sukanta Acharya then addressed the gathering and spoke in detail about the felicitation of the meritorious students. At the event his address, a total of nine meritorious students from the Acharya community of Khowai district were felicitated by the distinguished guests. After the guests delivered their speeches, District President Malay Acharya gave a brief address and announced the conclusion of the first session.

Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Kunjaban Panchayat Pradhan Jantu Pal. Senior members of the Acharya community, Gopal Acharya and Durgapada Acharya and many other distinguished dignitaries were present at the event.

The Parishad Secretary presented the secretary’s report, while Treasurer Anjan Acharya presented the organization’s income and expenditure statement. The meeting also discussed various organizational programmes and activities planned for the coming days.
