Khowai, Tripura, 31st of August, 2024 : With the initiative of Asharam Bari Anti-Drug Society Knockout football competition has been conducted in collaboration with the BN 119 BSF at Asharam Bari Class XII school ground, Khowai. A knockout football competition was going on for a month at Asaram Bari Class XII school ground. In the presence of many dignitaries Hon’ble Tribal Welfare, Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture, Statistics Minister Bikash Debbarma has inaugurated the final match today (31st August, 2024).
Today, the final match of Knockout football competition played between Kamalpur Mahavir Tea Garden XI vs Chamu Basti XI. In the final match of Knockout football competition, about ten thousand spectators attended the match today and enjoyed a great exciting football match, the first half of the game was goalless and the second half. Saran Debbarma scored after twenty minutes for Chamu Basti XI. In the end Chamu Basti XI won this final match by 1/0 goal.
