Agartala, Tripura, 22nd July, 2026 : The Day–7 training programme of the Army Attachment Camp–2026 for 77 NCC cadets, 1 ANO and 1 CTO of 13th Tripura Battalion NCC was conducted with exceptional enthusiasm at 1 Bihar (Batalik), Salbagan Military Station, Agartala, under the aegis of Army Officers, JCOs, NCOs, CTOs and ANOs. The meticulously planned schedule blended physical conditioning with military orientation, institutional learning and character development, enabling the cadets to gain a deeper understanding of the traditions, discipline and operational ethos of the Indian Army while reinforcing the NCC ideals of “Unity and Discipline.”
The day’s proceedings commenced with an invigorating Yoga and Physical Fitness Session under the guidance of Sipahi Wadhibhi Mayur. Cadets actively participated in a series of yoga postures, stretching exercises and physical workouts aimed at enhancing flexibility, endurance, concentration and overall well-being. The session underscored the significance of physical fitness and mental composure as indispensable attributes of a disciplined soldier, encouraging the cadets to cultivate a healthy lifestyle and unwavering resilience.
Subsequently, the cadets were taken on an educational visit to the Quarter Guard of 1 Bihar (Batalik), where an informative session was conducted by Havildar Paritosh Kumar and Pankaj Kumar. The instructors provided a comprehensive overview of the Quarter Guard, explaining its pivotal role as one of the most important establishments within a military unit. Cadets were acquainted with its responsibilities in safeguarding arms, ammunition, regimental property and maintaining round-the-clock security and ceremonial standards. The session further highlighted the Quarter Guard’s vital contribution to military discipline, vigilance and operational preparedness, offering the cadets valuable insights into an essential pillar of Army administration and security.
The educational visit was followed by a specially curated audio-visual presentation depicting the distinguished history, operational achievements and glorious legacy of 1 Bihar Battalion. Based on real-life incidents and remarkable military accomplishments, the documentary showcased the Battalion’s unwavering courage, professionalism and selfless service to the nation across diverse operational environments. The inspiring presentation captivated the cadets and instilled a profound sense of patriotism, pride and admiration for the extraordinary sacrifices and achievements of the Indian Army. The afternoon witnessed a vibrant display of camaraderie, confidence and cultural harmony as the NCC cadets assembled for a musical interaction programme.
