Agartala, 12th April, 2024 : Under 1-West Tripura Parliamentary Constituency out of 62 complaints received so far from various political parties, 56 have already been addressed. Additionally, 5 government employees from different departments have been suspended for breaching the Model Code of Conduct (MCC), and 2 security personnel were also suspended for negligence of duty.
Stating these through a Press Note Dr. Vishal Kumar, Returning Officer for 1-Tripura West Parliamentary Constituency informed that the police have also filed 4 FIR against different individual and more than 08 (eight) persons were arrested and prosecuted. Voting percentage is 95% in case of Home Voting.
The home voting in all 30 ACs have been complete in a streamline and peaceful manner. The ECI has conducted review meeting with all the Observer. The administration is assuring peaceful environment for the voters with help of CAPF.
