Agartala, 12th April, 2024 : With the initiative of Agartala Holy Cross School authority a gorgeous Parents Day Observation programme has been conducted in Holy Cross School premises in Agartala on Friday (12th April,2024). In the presence of many dignitaries Hon’ble Governor of Tripura, Indrasena Reddy Nallu has inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.
Addressing at the programme Hon’ble Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu said that the important role of teachers and parents in shaping the lives of children. The Governor said that Parents’ Day is celebrated to highlight the contribution of parents in shaping the lives of their children. Addressing the school authorities, the Governor said that they should prepare the students to succeed in the competitive examinations. He thanked the Holy Cross School authorities for providing proper education to the students.
Father Jilson Tom, Principal of Holy Cross School, Agartala delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. Secretary of Holy Cross Education Foundation, Father George Jacob, Bishop Lumen Monteiro of Agartala and Subrata Chowdhury spoke on behalf of the parents. The students have presented their different kinds of traditional cultural programmes in the programme. On this auspicious occasion a large number of holy cross members, parents & students of this school and other many dignitaries have taken participation in this parents day programme 2024 with great zeal and enthusiasm. Father Aji Paul, Vice Principal of the Holy Cross School, Agartala has concluded the ceremony with vote of thanks.
